The APB Adjustable Post Base from Simpson Strong-Tie, supplied by Cedar Direct, is designed to secure posts or columns to concrete, making it ideal for outdoor structures like pergolas, patio covers, and other top-supported projects. As part of the Outdoor Accents® Mission Collection®, this post base features decorative edges with a southwestern flair, adding an elegant design element to outdoor living spaces. The ZMAX® galvanized steel with a black powder-coat finish enhances corrosion resistance for long-lasting durability.

The APB post base installs with Outdoor Accents structural wood screws and patented hex-head washers (sold separately), offering a decorative bolt-like appearance with the convenience of screw installation. Additionally, the APB model includes a 1" standoff to help prevent moisture-related post-end rot.
